Better Quality Felt Stocking

We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return.

We DO NOT accept returns on items purchased during the month of October. We also DO NOT accept returns on opened or worn items.

Items purchased after October 17th may NOT arrive by Halloween. There is a chance they will arrive however we do not guarantee it and we can't rush orders. There are extreme mail delays due to COVID as well as USPS mail changes and port delays across the US. The return policy is still in place for the month of October and we will not accept returns.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging as you received it.  If your return is not in the same condition as we sent it the return will be rejected.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@costumeplace.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return authorization number, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return authorization will not be accepted.

1. Exchanges must be postmarked within 3 days of the date you received merchandise.
2. Item(s) returned for a refund will incur an 15% restocking fee.
3. Item(s) must be new, unused and in their original packaging, along with all accessories.
4. Item(s) must include the original order number.
5. Item(s) must include the return authorization number.
6. Item(s) must be returned with proper tracking and insurance.
7. All shipping costs must be paid by the person returning the merchandise.  Customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
8. Returned items eligible for a refund will be refunded for the cost of the item returned only, minus the 15% restocking fee. We do not refund shipping cost.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order and contact us within three days of receiving if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

To start an exchange, you can contact us at support@costumeplace.com. If your exchange is accepted, we’ll send you an exchange authorization number, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange will not be accepted.

You will need to place a new order for the item or size you'd like to exchange it for. Once the order is placed, send us the order number and the exchange authorization number will be sent and the address to send back the merchandise. Once we receive your package, your original order will be refunded.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Cancelled Orders
If you wish to cancel your order please email us at support@costumeplace.com and we will do our best to get your order cancelled immediately.  We fulfill orders as quick as possible so if your order was already shipped you will need to refer to the return policy.  If your item has not been shipped yet and we are able to pull it from the warehouse prior to shipping we will either void your transaction or issue you a credit back to your card on file.
