Spooky Spider Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Black olives

Instructions:

  1. Boil the Eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Cool the eggs in ice water and peel them.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper. Add a pinch of paprika for extra flavor.
  3. Assemble the Spiders: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. Cut black olives in half for the spider bodies and slice others into thin strips for the legs. Place the olive halves in the center of each egg, then arrange the strips around them to form the legs.
  4. Serve: Arrange the Spooky Spider Deviled Eggs on a platter and sprinkle with additional paprika if desired.
